The Rose

A Rose from Inniswood Gardens

I thought this rose was so different in color. I also know that the colors of roses have certain meanings to them and I wondered what this color of a rose indicated? Here’s what I found. A red and yellow rose means : Jovial and Happy Feelings

  1. Very pretty rose. I like roses. White roses with red tips or even a mix or red and white has always had a special meaning to me.
I like the focus and composition of this photo. Monte, you have a good eye.

  2. Roses in full bloom are some of the last bastions of a well-fought summer. I can see it reaching out in an attempt to stave off the cooler weather of fall.

Or maybe I’m just projecting a bit 🙂

    Pretty capture, Monte!

  3. Monte, It’s certainly a beauty to behold. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one with this pattern of colors.

  4. Wayne: Thanks for looking and commenting. It’s neat when a photo connects with someone for any reason.

Paul: Yes, the cooler weather is on its way. But with that comes beautiful colors and a promise of new birth in spring.

Earl: I felt the same way. this rose caught my attention because of the distinct colors and separation.
