Morning Light and Shadows

I am sitting in my hotel room in Richmond, VA. The flying has been tough the last two days with all the snowy and cold weather moving across the country and pounding the eastern coast. Not much opportunity to get out and shoot so I grabbed one from a few days ago. It is lightly snowing now and expected to continue through the night.  This was taken a few days ago and is one of those images where I just wanted to fire off a few shots of whatever I was around. Love to hear the shutter.

  1. I hope you’re able to get back on schedule soon and have a wonderful day today.

    • We are already starting an hour late but we should end our day at our regular time. We also may be full to the max with passengers trying to get home.

  2. I was looking at some video of some of the cities along the east coast and it seemed that some people were surprised by the snow. Really? It snows there every year! 🙂

Good luck keeping to your schedule!

    • They closed Philly last night, canceling my last 2 flights and just sent us home. Lost a little bit of pay but glad to be home. I start another 4-day trip on the 24th, so will be traveling for the holidays with more snow. What schedule?

  3. This image is well suited for the graphical qualities of B&W Monte. I can only imagine the complexities of keeping things on track this time of year!
